Without doing any real analysis, I would say that the heater you 
propose will more than do the job.  Maintaining 50 in Nashville 
doesn't sound like that great of a challenge if we're talking about a 
reasonably well constructed and insulated garage.  Of course if it's 
a barn where you can see daylight through the boards, that's a 
different story.
