I'm interested in something, too. I teach high school shop and we have a
sort of mezzanine/attic over the classroom. We store lumber and other
stuff up there and access is via a steep ship stair. I'd like to build
some kind of lift to get stuff up and down without having to manhandle it
up and down the ship stair. Of course I would have to find some way to
keep the kids from riding it...
