[Shop-talk] Off topic - Electric heating bed blanket

Well, my first answer is to agree with everyone else, and say that
yes, an electric blanket should feel quite warm. But my answer and
most of the other answers are based on our experiences many years
ago. There have been a lot of safety concerns over electric
blankets, everything from harmful electric fields to overheating
people to fire hazards. It is possible that the newest electric
blankets have been regulated to be less warm. Does anyone have any
experience with a new electric blanket?
