An average hardware store should have screw-in adapters that have two- 
conductor plug sockets in the end. These are used to plug cords into  
a lamp socket. These could probably be disassembled for your purposes.

Also, I have seen a fairly broad line of LED lamps at a marine store  
in Seattle, with screw-in bases, bayonet bases, pin bases, and a  
number of lighting configurations.
