<body>I have an electric wiper motor in my 50 3600 that I have had for years. It stopped working, so I checked the wiring, and upon deciding to replace it with a new $400 one, I unhooked the linkage from the pins. When I did this, the motor suddenly started working again without the wipers hooked up. So I put the linkage back on the pins and turned it on. Nothing. I seem to recall many years ago when I first installed it, there was a little band that hooked onto two pins, where the linkage is attached. Without it, they would not work. Am I imagining things, or is this a component that I need for the wipers to work?<div><br /></div><div>Thanks!</div><div><br /></div><div>Smokey Culver League City, TX</div></body></html>
