Keep the truck and make due. When the kids are gone you will wish you still
had it. At a time in your life when you need something to make life worthwhile
you will need a hobby. Then the grand kids come and it's nothing like having a
ride in grandpa's old truck. Good luck.

I have been on the list for almost 10 years now and my truck is currently
sitting in my garage, it is almost complete and registered as a classic,
but have not touched it for a couple of years. Life, work, kids and the real
important things of life have taken precedence.
Have one kid in college and another one leaving next year. Wife has made
comments about getting rid of the truck to help pay for college and regain
garage space. I did something similar a couple of years ago to help pay for
first kid going to college, I sold my beloved 1971 VW bug. I have been
considering doing the same with my 1953 3100 Chevy truck, but not only I
have a lot money and work into it, but a lot of memories. Not sure what to
do.
Thanks to this group and the encouragement that I have received from the
members during the last 10 years.
Thanks,
Antonio
