[Oletrucks] Chevy 350 Engine / 5 Speed Transmission Shifter Spacing

I'm 1500 miles away from my 55-1 Chevy PU / 350 / 4L60E - wanting 5 speed -
found rebuildable 92 Chevy 1500 5 speed / clutch & stuff.

 

Sure I'm OK but before I buy / haul it home would like to know ( close
estimate ) distance from firewall to front of bench seat in a AD truck -
hate to have the shifter up against or too close to the seat.
