I really like the "cold shrink electrical tape" from Waytek
It does a great job.
I have also use it on many trailer electrical wiring projects.
Remove the backing, stretch to about twice the original length and apply.
I know there are some other similar products, but I have been happy with
Waytek

Friction tape will work, just hard to find. Try an electrical supply house

Hi Gang:

In the process of tidying up a stock 94 LT-1 engine harness - purchased a
couple of rolls of non-adhesive wiring harness tape - I assumed that the
stretching held the tape in place but not having much luck.

Knowing how regular black tape comes unraveled with heat wanted to do a
onetime harness intersection wrapping but think good old black tape might be
better.

Any thoughts -Thanks ,

Jim
