Wayne, All of them that I have owned, (8) were all on the passinger side of
the cowl, under the edge of the hood..

Seems to be alot of conflicting info on the VIN locations for the 41/42
years. Got a friend across town just helping him out a bit, the door handles
say its a 42 but can't find the VIN tag location - some says its on the
firewall, some say engine, some say frame near the starter. Anybody own one
of these years who has more knowledge than I???
