I recall my dad always used a large set of hinges, dropped a big ole nail
though the holes to keep 'em secured.. --wayne

Does anyone have an online source for the corner/latch hardware? I've been
looking for awhile, and haven't found anything.
Thanks,

I had an uncle who hauled cattle and built his own sideboards. He used oak
and assembled the parts with carriage bolts. All members had all four edges
eased with a router. The post were a full 2x3 and the rails or slats 1x3. My
memory has the gap between slats at 4". Cab height seems a bit short. You
can buy the hardware to lock each panel and the corners together. His main
truck was 40' long with a couple of shorter 20' bobtails. He also
occasionally swapped out the cattle racks for solid sideboards to haul grain
or feed.

Morning everyone,
I just stumbled upon a 56 3/4 ton with a flatbed on it.
Since
it has the flatbed on it, I would like to give it a old farm truck look by
building a wood livestock rack. I have been looking for pictures online to
model my design after, but cannot find any. Does anyone on the group know
of
any website to look at with something similar, or maybe have some pictures
of
their own? I would like the rack to be approximately the same height of my
cab or just a little taller.
thanks a ton in advance
