Thanks for the info Kurt. After what you say goes inline with what others have
said about the Mercon having better grip....thanks   tom in sc

mercon has
grit (for lack of a better term) in it. pour some on your finger and you can
feel it.
dextron does not. if your tranny is slipping and you need another
month out of it mercon will help.
but mercon will leak out just like dextron
and tear up your gm trans
