[NOBBC] WILDFIRE ROLL CALL

I am fortunate in that I live in Petaluma, and my new shop is on Dutton Ave
in South Santa Rosa, so I was not directly affected by the fire, merely
inconvenienced, mail, services, etc., my home and vehicles are safe.
However, I have many local customers that got hit, and I must know 50
friends and associates that that were hit or lost everything. I have some
issues of my own, but I count my blessings that I still have my home,
family, and cars.

GOOD LUCK AND GOD'S SPEED to those that were hit by the fire.

Clif and Deborah - I am SO DAMN sorry to hear of your horrible ordeals, and
so glad you are both physically OK. I hope you have family or some other
housing - this is the ongoing ordeal so many will suffer. I am sorry to hear
of your home, cars and everything else. We initially feared the loss of our
home, cars, and everything but what we could carry in our trucks, but the
flames didn't reach us because the high winds didn't return as feared. My
father was evacuated from his retirement community, but is home now, about 2
blocks from the devastation in the Coffey neighborhood.

I know there are many new members of this club, and I think most have moved
on to Facebook, but I'm not a user, and am also very concerned about Dawson
and family, Walter and family, and our other members who have been in the
fire's path. *If any members wish to let the group know you are OK, please,
please do so.*

Not sure about your lacquer repairs, other than to send it out to Nevada,
perhaps? Have you spoken to Hawley's? They should be able to tell you what
to do.

Any members who were not affected by the fire and wish to contribute may
want to consider the Redwood Credit Union North Bay Fire Relief fund.
100% is going to aid victims. It's more focused than donations to Red Cross,
etc., although we gave to them as well, and to the Redwood Empire Food Bank.
I have also recorded an announcement on my podcast, and put the information
on my web site, but here's the direct link:

Best to you all,

Greg Tatarian
