Well as usual I have not heard from many people about a ride on Saturday.

 

So I propose we meet at Bad Ass at 11am and then head over the St. Helena
Road

and swing around the Silverado Trail back to Calistoga and feast on BBQ.

 

Or anything else someone may want to propose.

 

Supposed to be glorious weather on Saturday. Let's see some of you come on
out!

Sorry John.  Not going to make this one.  This is our last weekend to get 
ready for 24 Hours of Lemons.
I would like to extend and invitation to anybody that would like to see some 
hardcore, fender to fender racing.  This year we have 3 days of racing in 2 
races.  Saturday/Sunday 23rd/24th for the regular 2 day race and an overflow 
race on Monday the 25th.  There were over 250 entries for the 2 day race so 
they had to open up a second races.  The first races has over 170 cars 
entered and the Monday race has at least 100.
It's great fun so hope to see you.

Would like to take a drive but I'm currently being held captive in Kona with
it's annoying speed limits. Miles and miles of 30MPH and then the high speed
stuff:  45 MPH.  Ah well. have a good time.

Race next weekend, added Monday as there were tons of cars, so an extra day.
The car is in great shape, standard tranny will make it more fun for the

That Monty looks a lot like my germen wire haired pointer, Bertie.  This gives
me great encouragement.  If a gwp can be taught to drive a mini,  then my wife
can be taught to drive a stick shift MGB on Devon country lanes in the UK.  I
may have to walk alongside her offering her treats which should make the
locals smile!

Hello folks,

 

Last week we had what will go down in NOBBC history 

a ride that will be known as the Tour of the Taco Trucks  of North
Healdsburg.

 

We had 10 cars in the beginning and 8 at the Taco Truck.

 

So we all had a chat and decided it is time to return to the good 

weather schedule of 2 rides per month on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays 

and starting at 10am.

 

So in April we will have rides on the 13th and the 27th.

 

There is some talk of Ray leading a ride to Lake Berryessa.

 

More information to come in the near future.

Hi All, I was on the One Lap Of Marin with the Alfa guys and spotted a group
of Morgan's headed north on Highway 1 near Tomales. Anyone from the NOBBC?

There was a slate blue Daimler SP250 with them, and we had a black SP250 in
our group owned by NOBBC member Steve Plath. It's not often one sees two of
them on the same day!

Hi All,

The Morgan's were the Wine Country Car Club tour which I was leading.  
Last minute
swap with a lady who is coordinating a tour at Sears Pt. with CSRG in  
April (which was
supposed to be my event) so mine got bumped to March. We stopped in  
Tomales with
the One Lap of Marin group for about half an hour. Kind of messed up  
our restaurant
schedule but worth it. Two Daimler Darts, definitely a rarity.
