Hear-hear! Great day on Saturday (allergies not withstanding) with outstanding
cars and racing. The British made a fine showing, in the corral, the paddock
and on the track. Thanks for all of the leg-work setting this up. Let's see it
all again at the CSRG Fall race. Maybe by then Sears Point will have a name.

I just want to know who let the SUV onto the track in front of me on
my second lap and spoiled our view and fresh air (he left his e brake
on and smoked the rear brakes).

so therefore there will be a club ride this Saturday!

Hello Lucas Lovers,

 

Next Saturday will be our second ride for June.

Hopefully it won't be as hot as last Saturday.

 

Unless someone has something special in mind let's meet

at Bad Ass Coffee in Santa Rosa at 10am.

 

I think that LeMons race car is all done for the next race so

maybe those fellows will show up.

 

Bring a full tank of gas, some lunch? and maybe a folding chair.

 

If you have something special in mind then speak up.

Who will be at Bad Ass at 10:00?  Three girls need to ride with someone.  Me,
my niece and friend from Canada who are here for the weekend.  John has
volunteered a seat.
Clif has to work on the LeMons car with boys for Buttonwillow.  It will be at
Bad Ass for you all to see the work this gang has accomplished.

I'm hoping to see you there.  My JH has some untested improvements that I
have to finish so not sure whether it will be ready.  OTOH, I could always
ride the Beemer.....

We have a BBQ tomorrow, so can't make the drive, but we'll stop by to 
say hi and see the LeMons car.

It is no coincidence that the drives have seen slightly lower attendance 
recently, as several of the more active participants have been busy with 
the LeMons car and activities. Also, May and June have been packed with 
vintage car activities, which have kept some of us busy.

Look for Trish and me to lead what will be a fun and different drive 
next month; an NOBBC fruit and vegetable stand hop!

Yes, that's right. We'll do our grocery shopping and check out some 
great roads at the same time. My plan is to take us on a loop of four or 
five roadside stands where we can pack our trunks with 
locally/regionally grown and produced foods. We have some great such 
locations in Sonoma County along some great roads, so this should be a 
fun time.

Finally, we have many members who are no longer, or never signed up on, 
the autox email list, but are instead on the Yahoo group. If you want 
the best response to your messages, consider posting on both sites. Only 
a few members are only on the autox list, by the way - most are on the 
group now.

Hey, that was fun yesterday! Thanks to Walter, Clif, Mike and John for 
showing off the LeMons Mustang. The car looks good - a lot of progress 
being made, and the upcoming Buttonwillow race will be a good test of 
your hard work.
