Hello Sports Fans,

 

Next Saturday, the 15th of December, is the third Saturday of the month.

 

That means it's ride time again!!!!!!!!

 

Unless someone comes up with a better idea or a super groovy planned ride

we will meet at Bad Ass Coffee at 11am as we do in the Winter months.

 

So, see you then.

 

Bring a full tank of gas, a lunch? and maybe a chair or two.

 

I'm not sure I can make it as I have this ongoing rebuild my fence project.

I'll try to drag myself away but I still have 700 feet to go. Any
volunteers?

I received an inquiry from Dave Samson in Napa looking for an MGB 
roadster.  Not sure where he got my email address, but told him I 
would be glad to post to the NoBBC list for him.  His price 
expectation may be a bit optimistic based on what I have seen of MGB prices.

Looking for a MGB roadster, driver or better. OD hopefully. 71-73 
preferred. Knock offs.
Modifications are ok or even preferred especially when adding proven 
reliability or convenience.

Sheryl and I would really like to take the MG's out, but I think this weekend 
might also be a bust for any good weather.  Looking at the extended forecast for 
next weekend does not look much better.  So any drives in December might be a 
washout.  Does anyone have any other suggestion for a group meet in December?

I just did a quick check on sf bay area craigslist and there are a few in that
price range with OD.  One nice one in Santa Rosa.  Winter is the perfect time
to buy a roadster.

Hi Don,

I don't know if you remember Frank Morris from Fairfield, unfortunately he 
died in the same month as Ron Englehart. Frank had several cars that are now 
in probate, nearing the end. Frank had a 75 - 76 MGB that I painted for him 
that was in pretty GOOD shape when I last saw it. His partner Candace Reed 
has asked me to help in selling all of his vehicles when they clear Probate. 
His B looks great, runs very well, had a very slight exhaust leak, hard 
top/soft top, really a nice little car. He also had a beautiful red MGA 
Coupe that was professionally restored in LA that he got back just before he 
died, also for sale. I will check with Candace to see what she wants 
pricewise for each car if you're interested, let me know.

We have a yellow 75 MGB in great shape with slight engine mods(weber carb, header, and electric ignition) that we need to sell. 
The car belongs to my Father-in-law, Al Nuccion, who is a member of NOBBC as well. His health is failing and he can't drive the car any more. 
We are asking $5500 or best offer. Car has no rust, new battery, and fairly new tires. Everything works and runs excellent. If interested please call me.

I lucked out on Boxing Day. Weather started off dicey but managed to get
better and better. If the weather is good tomorrow I'll be there.

Would love to go but I'm gonna be out in West Sonoma County on a bird count
Next time.

Wendell failed to mention that he managed to find every road in SW Sonoma
Country and NW Marin that had impressive water incursion.  Bodega Hwy was
actually closed east of Bloom Field.   Still it was  a nice drive and great
fun.   And it should be noted that Wendell's sports car for the day was a
fixed head two seater built by the Dodge Brothers and looked very much like a
pickup truck.  :)
