[Nobbc] Help with Ron's car, please?

Thank you to those who have provided info on the conversion battery -
looks like a group 26 may not fit, but I'm confident we can help Candy
get a battery that will work. I have not heard from her whether the
car was already converted from two 6 volt batteries or not, but I'm
going to clear my schedule for this Friday to head over to her house
with tools, charger and test equipment, and then I'll have a better
idea of whether the problem is the battery, starter, or something
else.

If anyone is interested in buying Ron's MGA, now is the time to let
Candy and/or me know, since the more work she has to get done on the
car the higher the asking price. She has already had an offer from a
classic car dealer, and she has since found some additional spares for
the car which could be valuable. We know the car is a capable driver,
so even if someone wants to do a rolling resto or just spruce the car
up and drive, this could be a good opportunity.

If any of you generous people who offered your help want to join me
this Friday, please let me know and I'll arrange it with Candy. I'm
going to get there at 1030 am.
