I don't think they actually run a 24 hour around the clock program. 
I think it totals 24 hours of running time in the 2 day event.
If you haven't been to one of the events or read a lot about it you may want
to go check it out. They run with a different set of rules. Costumes are a
big part of the event.

Well alrighty now, we got one piece of enthusiasm. How about some volunteers

to work and race? The Lemons race is a team concept based on Le Mans type 
racing, so there must be a number of team members to alternate driving 
around the clock besides fixing and prepping a vehicle, so if you work, you 
drive. Can you see yourself going throught the carousel at 60 MPH at 2 AM? 
Come on ladies and germs, this could be fun. Cliff?
