[NOBBC] Are we talking a yahoogroup here??

IF you folks are talking about moving this group to yahoogroups.com, I can do
the actual move in about ten minutes. I've run the Grinnall Scorpion worldwide
group(s) from there as the moderator for a decade now.
Whoever is going to be the owner/moderator needs to know just a few ground
rules and the group will not run itself, but it won't take much time at all if
set up properly. Contact me OUTSIDE the group if you want my input. Or I'll
just put the thing up and announce/put up the simple email path to joining the
new group.
The biggest thing with a yahoogroup is ...KNOW who you are letting in. IF
you don't know the name, put them on moderated status until you do. There's a
couple of other tricks that must be known to prevent the group from falling
into Hell/purgatory with yahoo, because once there, it's TOUGH to come back.
                               Tom R (Grinnall Scorpion guy)
