Joanna and I want to say thank you for organizing such a nice event
today and
for opening your home to all of us.  Heck, you even pulled some strings

pushed the rain out a couple of days!  Although we had to leave early

another commitment, we still had the chance to reconnect with some
familiar faces as well as make some new acquaintances.  We look forward
