Michael,
Thanks for the lead to the sonoma morgan. I have to say Morgan would be my car of choice if I could afford one. And this one is absolutely lovely and in my favorite color. I noticed his SU overflow pipes off the pots were pretty short. Is this unique to Morgan? Mine on the MGA go all the way down about 18". When I'm diagnosing a carb issue elliminating a possible stuck needle in the float chamber would be alot easier being able to see the ends of the tubes as in Bill's car. On mine I have to look under the car. Anybody know of any reason why they shouldn't be this short? The issue, I imagine, would be how quickly apparent an overflow would be with gas flowing from the front carb blowing onto the exhaust header.
Happy Holiday
Mike

Wendell,
There was an interesting article in the Sunday Chronicle about a man in
Sonoma who has a 1957 Morgan +4 that I thought might appreciate, maybe you
know him. You can read the artcle at SFGate.com. It is a beautiful car.
