[Nobbc] Sunny Saturday

Today was the day I got the carbs back on the MGB after 6 months. Taken off to
make way for the rebuilt brake master cyl. "While I am at it" I might as well
replace the brake pipes and while I am at it I should remove the master
cylinder cage and de-rust and re paint it. And while I am at it, I should
de-rust, prime and paint the engine bay where the master cylinders have leaked
over 40 odd years and created a rusty mess. Oh, and while they were off, one
of the SU jets broke. So on this sunny, beautiful, green as Ireland day, I got
the repaired carbs back on, filled the rad with coolant, turned on the
ignition, (no fuel leaks!!!) and "VAROOM!!!" started on first crank. Now if I
can get the brake and clutch hydraulics bled and working, I may, just may get
to enjoy the sunny, beautiful, green as Ireland Sunday. Fingers crossed.
You know, "while I am at it", I should replace the cherry bomb muffler with
that straight pipe I've been planning on. You know, while the car is still up
in the air. While I am at it..........
