Hallo Members,

Ron has asked me to remind you all about the tech session this Saturday
at 2pm, so I've pasted info from my previous email below:

There will be time for you all to meet up for a short drive before the
tech session. Ron previously suggested meeting for a drive at the our
regular spot (commuter lot west of Hwy. 101 off the River Road exit) at
12 noon instead of 10, and that is what I've told a few people who have
emailed me directly, so may I suggest you take Ron up on that
suggestion? If you won't be going on the
drive, or if the drive is on Sunday, please do bring your British car to
the shop. I'll be getting snacks and preparing with Jerry, so won't
join you for a drive. You'll all need to be at the shop by 2pm - the
session will start without any stragglers.

Where:
JNW Engine & Machine
Jerry White
1000 Piner Road, Unit G
Santa Rosa, CA 95403
http://www.jnweng.com/home

Please DO NOT call Jerry for details or directions - he
doesn't need the extra distractions. Please direct all questions to me.

Date and Time:
Saturday, Oct. 25, 2pm

Basic Agenda:
Meet at the shop at 2pm. Snacks and some soft drinks will
be set out for you. Any special dietary or liquid refreshments you need,
please supply your own.
Jerry will give us a sequential tour of the shop, with a
few examples of machine work in progress on various equipment. We'll
probably see the block boring machine in action, the Serti valve seat and
guide cutter (very accurate, very cool), and other interesting
operations.
Questions are welcome. This will be a loose and comfortable
session, which is just how we in the NOBBC like it, so please make
time to come.
I expect that we'll be there for 2 hours, but it may
run longer for those who have the time.

As of now, I have a rough count of 12 members who intend to show up. I
would like to have an idea of the actual number of members attending so
I can purchase the correct amount of food and refreshments, but if you
want to just show up, please feel free to do so.

Cost: Nominal - should be $4-6 maximum, which will just
cover food, refreshments, and some beer for Jerry.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday at JNW Machine.

Cheers,
Greg
