From kww at kwwilliams.com Wed Feb 29 06:37:34 2012 From: kww at kwwilliams.com (Kevin Wayne Williams) Date: Wed, 29 Feb 2012 08:37:34 -0500 Subject: [Morris] Throwout bearings redux Message-ID: <4F4E2A1E.2070602@kwwilliams.com> Well, my new, roll-pin free 1275 throwout bearing arrived, and it's at least a 1/4" taller than my other 1275 throwout bearings. Obviously, one or more of these bearings is not a 1275 throwout bearing. Does anyone know the exact measurement points to distinguish 1098 from 1275 bearings? I know 1275s are taller, but for all I know this bearing is from a Yugo or something, so I don't want to just blindly install the tallest of the set.
