Gang,

This was sent to me by my friend Paul Kelly, in Australia.  It is one of the most radical Minor chops that we have seen.  Notice that the doors are longer and it features a split rear window. It IS a hot rod but it incorporates the best aspects of a 1935 Ford, a '39 Ford and a Minor....  WILD!!

I have a hood for a 1952-56 Minor that I rescued off a junked car. Unless anyone waves their hand, it's going to the metal recycler next weekend--I need the space in my crowded garage, and I don't even own a split-window Minor.

The hood is rough. It has surface rust, and the front is slightly dented in. The "MORRIS MINOR" badges are missing from the sides, but it still has both side spears. Both the Morris crest/spear and the "M" handle have pitted chrome, and the cloisonne is broken on the handle. 

It's not the Series MM "short" hood, but the longer hood with a "V" back edge for the split screen.

PLEASE let me know if you'd like it (contact me off-list) and could pick it up near Woodstock NY or are willing to pay shipping. Otherwise, it goes. Thanks in advance.
