[Mini] fueling issues after converting to EFI solved

Good point about having the facet pump to feed the EFI pump directly but
there is no way the facet pump can keep up with the EFI pump.
The Facet pump is good for about 120L/h while the EFI pump does 250L/h.
That's also why the return from the fuel rail goes back in the surge tank.
Now there's an idea. A Supercharger :-) or just drive to what the engine
likes most...(4000rpm+)
Btw, when I keep the revs below 5400rpm nobody would even know there is a
different engine under the bonnet, ha, ha.

Cheers,
Frits.

Hi Frits,

What I was wondering most about is why not just put the facet pump
between the tank and the EFI pump.
Possibly with a King filter thingy in between to set a specific pressure.

I gather the facet is between the big tank and the self buitl surge
tank and the EFI is sucking from the surge tank, which the facet pump
makes sure is always full.
So basically you've built your own Filter King thingy :)

BTW, had a look at your building the beast page: quite impressive!

Now go and throw a supercharger on there for those low revs :)

Anne.
