Spent an hour last night help a fella set yup a pair of H8s on a
Nissan 260z ( 2.5 straight 6)

Carbs are off a Jag 4.2 and it might be a bit over carbed and over
springed (Scotts twin HIF6's on his 13309 spring to mind)

Tthe US 240Z featured a 2.4L L24 inline-6 with twin SU carburetors
that produced 151 hp (113 kW).

Carb model for the hitachi units is: HMB46W

The 3 screw round tops used on 1972's came with N-58 needles in automatics
and slightly richer N54's in 4 sp cars. 
All 4 screw SU's, used in 70 and 71, came with N-27's.

I am after the SU carb designation i.e. HS6,  H6 etc as well that was
fitted to this model

            Please could you explain in what way you feel the following 
'Mini Related' post you sent to both mini lists, is related to the mini?
I have received 8 posts so far that are talking about carbs that were 
never fitted to a mini, and about a car that is not related to a mini.

If any other listers sent such a post they would be at least asked to 
have the discussion off list.

As holder of the whip, I would expect you to follow procedure and title 
a post correctly, and be relevant to the list.

Sorry if this sounds pompous, my expensive graphics card burned out last

of people who have tried ( and failed) to fit weird and wonderful SUs on
minis
