<div dir="auto">Look at the picture. This alternator is in my 1969 MGB GT. It is charging OK, but the engine is running hot. I tried today to tighten the fan belt which was way too easy to turn by hand without moving the belt. I could not tighten it enough to stop the fan from slipping. It looks jury rigged to me, but I have no other examples to go by. By the way, the engine is from a 67 B according to the serial number.<div dir="auto">Mike MacLean</div><div dir="auto">1969 MGB GT</div><div dir="auto">1960 Bugeye</div><div dir="auto">1956 Austin Healey BN2</div></div>
