<div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Well except for the downward spring pressure on the lower A-Arm that is connected to the kingpin at the bottom. The shock arms are connected to the top of the kingpin. I hope you know where I am going here. You need a workshop manual to safely take the front suspension apart to remove the shock. Be warned, when you take the suspension apart you may find there will be more than you bargained for to put it back together when you find other bits worn or broken. Just my 2 cents.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Mike MacLean</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">69 MGB GT</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">60 Bugeye Sprite</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">56 Austin Healey BN2 LeMans<br></div><div><br></div>
