Is that for a spin-on oil filter? To me that is
where the filtration media comes inside a metal can and you exchange the whole
thing, which screws onto a threaded piece on the adapter. Attached is an
MGB item where the filter screws down onto the adapter. Your
pictures look like the earlier MGB item with the over-pressure relief valve
as part of the adapter. With those the replaceable filter
element goes inside a reused metal container, and a long bolt goes up
through the whole thing into the adapter.

style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt">1957 MGA 1500 spin on oil filter Sent from my
iPhone X I removed my spin on oil filter adapter to exchange the o ring.
I had ordered an o ring and new copper washers for the oil input banjo
connection. My spin on adapter has 2 large o rings and a smaller o ring
between the adapter parts. Also the copper washers are just alittle too
small to fit on the banjo bolt. Notice the adapter in the smaller picture has
the oil valve. Is ths adapter rhe correct one or is it for an MGB? Is there
someone I can talk to for info? Maybe a diffrent spin on
adapter.
