And many of them didn’t even have a provision for a drain tap, which to me was a deal killer (since the lower hose is so hard to access, it just seemed that that would add a permanent maintenance nightmare).</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Then I managed to convince Moss Motors that their fan had a factory flaw, so they not only replaced the fan, they supplied a new aluminum radiator… with a drain tap.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">I don’t like the look of bare aluminum under the hood, but I sprayed it flat black and it looked fine.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Assuming “free” isn’t an option, between buying a dubious $250 radiator and having the original one re-cored for $450, I might have chosen the latter.
