I switched to a 20w dashpot oil, but no change. I’ve used carb cleaner on the pistons and cleaned the jets.</div><div><br></div><div>I could tolerate the hesitation upon initial hesitation, but the car misses once on the highway at high speed. If I back-off the acceleration slightly, the engine will catch.</div><div><br></div><div>I bought the car 10 years ago but never rebuilt the HIF carbs. I don’t use it regularly and haven’t had the problem until recently.
