	That’s a good way to get the paint off.
	After the brake fluid, give it a good wash in SimpleGreen or something, then clean all the metal with fine wire brush. You can’t really get into the rivet area, so follow up with a spray of electronic contact cleaner.  If rivets are loose, tighten them gently.
	Even after your good efforts, it may not be 100%.  They are not expensive, so don’t spoil a good drive by retaining dodgy fuse box.
