You can't swap the subframe (crossmember) in an MGA. It is welded to the
chassis in the MGA, unlike the MGB where it is bolted to the unibody.

You can swap the front hubs. Drum to drum would be easy, disc to disc would
be easy, Not as easy front drum to disc & vice versa. Swap the entire rear
axles (& hand brake cables) as the two axles are slightly different in
overall width (to account for the different back spacing of the wheels). Do
not swap the rear axle shafts - the different lengths will not engage with
the differential gears properly.
