A rebuilder in USA is Flying Dutchman. MG owners I know have used his services; I have not.   They said that he was not inexpensive, but his rebuilts were better than new pumps.
Having written this—I realise the age of my water pump.....

Cleaning out the basement shelves—found the water pump we removed from the MGC a dozen years ago because it leaked (installed a new one)—does anyone know if they are rebuildable?  Don’t need it (car sold) but I don’t want to put it in the “scrap” pile if someone can use it.  If interested, contact me off list.
