Hi Dave,
	I did not have this Experience advice when I did my doors, but what I did was pretty much what this suggests. Writer replaced the rubber, I see.   Right he is about lithium white grease. I don’t know why it’s better for this, but it is. 
	It’s a job difficult the first time, much easier second. Just have at it.
	One idea—if you can easily do it, raise the car onto jackstands. The getting in and out, twisting, turning, reaching, etc is easier when the car is up a few inches.
