Theoretically, yes, for chrome bumper cars. Your 72 I believe is a “fish mouth” so it should have that bit of trim on the front of the bonnet that would need to be removed and patched to use other grilles. Or maybe it’s missing because the bonnet is 68?

That said, I have had in my possession an original early chrome bumper grill (65 or older), a 66 grill, a Moss reproduction 62-69 grill, and an original 73-74 grill, and they all have minor variations in fit dimensions. So some finagling may be required.
