Wow! Roland, you must have one large garage.  I am limited to a two car garage that already contains a 60 Bugeye, a 2002 Harley Davidson Heritage Springer and an Austin Healey BN2 under a full restoration.  Everything is done, it's just assembly now.  Nice collection of cars.  I think you have every main continent covered there.  The other cars I own including the GT have to sit outside.  My 1012 Accord ahs been outside since the day I brought it home new anyway and I have a parts runner 2000 F150 I also bought new.  Might as well include some pictures.  Front picture was taken yesterday.  The other two today.  As you can see it is raining here today.  I checked the car, it is dry inside.  After years of have nothing but convertible sports car, a dry interior is very welcome.Mike M

Welcome Mike! Thanks for the introduction. Nicely made done.    I'm glad to learn that I'm not the only guy who enjoys a basket case! I'm a retired geophysicist but love trains  planes, and well, about any kind of machine.    To show that you're not alone, here are my cars. (Less details about the non-MG cars.)
'53 MG TD - Bought dead from a list member here. It had a broken pushrod caused by a stuck valve. Still, it is a car with a fun background. The car's first owner was the U.S. Ambassador to Jordan. I still have the original diplomatic plates! Today, the car is restored to a high degree and running fine.
'73 Jaguar E-Type - Bought is great running condition, nicely repainted, interior restoration underway.
'75 Triumph TR6 - Bought dead. Current ytotal restoration project.
'79 Lancia Zagato - Traded for. Concours level car.
'79 Ferrari 308GTB - Bought running great but needing body and paint work. Now restored to concours level.
'97 Nissan Hardbody pickup - Bought dead. Currently under repairs.
'08 Porsche - Bought CPO from dealer, and it's still as-new.
'09 Toyota Highlander - Bought new. Grocery getter.
'10 Mercedes E350 - Bought used but almost as-new.

I would like to let the list know I'm here.  Some of you may know me from the Spridget or Healey lists.  I just bought a 69 MGB GT.  I have owned several MGs in the past, but my last one was a 66 MGB with electric overdrive and a factory hardtop.  This car did not have first or reverse.  It only cost $350, but this was back in the 80s.       I have been trying to figure our switches and knobs in the GT and which ones work.  Complete surprise to me the horn is activated in the turn signal stalk!  Raining today, but I have not checked the wipers yet.  The bugaboo I encountered on the way home from buying this car was the tachometer.  It would shut off when you turn on the headlights.  If you turn off the panel lights, it comes back on.  Not looking forward to figuring this one out.   I am a retired locomotive engineer with a military flight engineer retirement also.  Lots of time to play with this new toy.  Hello and happy holidays to all on this list.Mike MacLeanSan Bernardino, CA
