[Mgs] Rough Running

Hi - last year, my '76B (with '75 engine and single Z-S carb) died while I was out driving and would not restart. Once back home, I managed to get it to start but it runs very rough andgenerates some light smoke - not dense clouds, and not white (like with a head gasket leak) but stinky none-the-less. I posted a video here -

That gives a sense of idle roughness, if not the light smoke... The tach is steady at idle.

I've replaced spark plugs and distributor rotor, as well as cleaned the contacts in the plug leads. Just installed a new electronic fuel pump as the old one crapped out. Lines are clearand fuel filter fills nicely. Carb was rebuilt about 4 years ago and before the car died on me last year, the car ran very well. I did open it up to check the diaphragm and floats, they are fineand the carb was clean inside. Car has about gas, most from last year but with 2 gallons from today added.
I did not try to drive it as the brakes need to be bled....

I've changed jobs recently and now have time to get this car back on the road and need some help as to where to start....
Thx,
