never mind.  different tool and I got it

on a late 64 the tumbler slides out of the ignition lock b is it that little
brass button?  how the heck do you push that little brass button inside there
to release it?

I have the replacement (car came with no keys!)

also b any thoughts b the glovebox appears to be locked.  no keys . . . .
