[Mgs] Locating my rear end

About ten years ago I picked up a used set of links for locating the rear axle
on my MGB:

Is there anything I need to know about installing them?  I have vague
recollection of being told do to something to allow them to slide forward and
back on the leaf springs, to keep things from binding up, but may be confusing
that with another type of suspension link.
