[Mgs] Battery/Alternator question (Non-MG)

That's a good list. I'd check the battery cables first, both for good clean
connections on the battery and at the other end of the cable. While you are
at it, make sure the battery posts are not loose. If you have the
aftermarket type battery clamps take them apart and clean the cable and all
parts. I used to have to do this on my truck every few years until I got a
replacement ground cable.
Corrosion can cause some strange intermittent problems.

By the way, after not starting my Saab for two weeks while I was in Honduras
I came back to a discharged battery on Thursday. It could be catching since
the other cars are an MG, Jaguar, and Land-Rover.

Thanks for the troubleshooting list. I'll take a look at it.

BTW, because of some other chores, I left the car sitting for a while
(somewhere in the vicinity of 4 hours) and now it starts. Wonder if any
members of the Lucas family emigrated to Sweden.
