Maybe not, but it undoubtedly contains unhelpful substances that would not
be present in "fresh" petroleum products, such as Waxoyl and other
preparations. In that sense it seems like a questionable sort of
economizing. There is also possibly an environmental issue related to
dripping waste oil around town, though in all likelihood the MG is already
guilty of that.
