Speaking of which, you may not know that Mark's professional occupation is a 
vet!  He's had a couple of series on UK TV recently dissecting large animals 
to see how they work, last week it was a lion, and he had the bright idea of 
connecting an air-line to its voice-box to see if he could make it roar.  It 
did.
