Hmm, didn't think of dots -- will try that. Certainly they appear frequently
enough to be actually useful. Doorslamming sounds a little brutal. I have
found that the extra-wide expansion joints at overcrossings provide plenty
of impact -- unfortunately the secondary effect is that they pop my bonnet
loose, causing a stop for that purpose.
