Maybe 30wt originally, no reason not to use 20W/50 now I would have said. 
If you are bothered about ZDDP then use one intended for both Diesel and 
petrol engines. i.e. has both API Cx and Sx grades on the container.  Diesel 
engine oils have higher quantities of ZDDP - at the moment.  There is no 
guarantee that an oil that had high ZDDP 10 or 20 years ago still has it, 
without looking at the specs.
