[Mgs] engine question

Dead heavy, for certain. I've got an "extra" engine sitting in the corner of
my garage that came with an earlier roadster, but I'm going to have to move it
somewhere next year when we sell the house, setting up for retirement, etc. I
have no freaking idea what do do with it. It's external condition is OK (well
oiled, like a good "B" engine should be), but the internals are a complete
unknown. I've also used it as a parts source, so it isn't complete.

In lbs no.
But three of us picked up an MGB engine a few weeks back and put it in the
back of a SUV with a fairly high tailgate. The engine was complete less the
clutch, flywheel, and backing plate.
When I was a young stud, I rebuilt a B motor in my basement and my father
and I slung it from a 2X4 and carried it up the stairs on our shoulders.
This might give you an idea of what it takes to move one.
