[Mgs] OT : Tesla - in the flesh!!

Well, it would certainly be strange to hear the Tesla glide by after the lovely sound of flat 6's, V8's, V12s, etc..... That's one thing
that I would definitely miss. I assume there is just some electric engine whine. Maybe you can get some video of the car on the track....

Well, when it happens, it happens in a rush.

My boss has just contacted me to say that his TESLA (hell, they have barely started building/shipping the things anywhere) is going to land in Australia over the next week or so.

He wants me to help him set it up and livery it up in the company colours for our Clipsal500 V8 Supercar event at the end of next month (this race event draws hundreds of thousands of people from all over the country) and he has been given a prime spot in a tent display at the racetrack... they also get a lap or so of the track each day of the four day event.

Pity I am working trackside each day or I may have had more of an involvement with the car.  I will certainly try and swing a seat in the car for one of their laps!!!!
