I am not sure I have ever seen anyone seriously try to repair an  
aluminium bonnet (there is another spelling issue for you to take  
up).  But I am sure lots of people would like to.

My last one went over my windscreen and the insurance company  
(reluctantly) paid the $AU2000 to replace it (painted) - I know THEY  
would like to have been able to repair it.
