Dan: I have pulled numerous B motors and have always used the two studs 
which are used for attaching the valve cover.  I slip the chain link over 
the stud(after removing the valve cover!) and use a washer if the nut might 
be too small and possibly fit thru the chain opening.  I have never had a 
problem.  You can adjust the cherry picker pickup point to balance the motor 
and tranny so they come out more smoothly and the tail of tranny doesn't 
hang too low. Hope this makes sense.
