<html><div>Hi Mike,</div><div> It's a DIY job that takes about an hour. It's quicker to DIY than to have someone do it. </div><div> A top shop, marine or auto, should be able to supply the plastic.</div><div> To replace, simply undo the nuts on inside of the metal frame, push outward the T-head bolts, then lift off canvas and the broken plastic. Use a hand-grip paper hole punch to make the new holes in new plastic, fit into the canvas, insert the bolts and tighten the nuts.</div><div> $20 perhaps--it's not a significant thing. Anyone who has followed the side curtain stowage instructions in handbook for TDs whose car has a three-bow top has done this.</div><div>Bob</div><div><br><br>---------- Original Message ----------<br>From: Michael Graziano <mgraziano1@gmail.com><br>To: mg-t@autox.team.net<br>Subject: [Mg-t] Cost of Side Curtain Plastic/Plastic Replacement?<br>Date: Wed, 6 May 2015 15:06:04 -0500<br><br></p><div dir="ltr">Hey everyone,<div> </div><div>The new TC has one side curtain with a crack/hole in the window.  </div><div> </div><div>I'd like to negotiate the price down to pay for it since it's a new disclosure. Can anyone give me an idea as to how much repairing this will cost?</div><div> </div><div>The image can be found here:</div><div> </div><div><a href="https://plus.google.com/photos/102237129538089847990/albums/6145852076734276465?authkey=CJSt49PejoPi2QE">https://plus.google.com/photos/102237129538089847990/albums/6145852076734276465?authkey=CJSt49PejoPi2QE</a></div><div> </div><div>Thanks,</div><div> </div><div>Mike</div></div></html>
